Elite Dance Center is proud to welcome back Innovative Fusion Convention for a one-day, in-studio dance convention on June 17, 2026. We are bringing an exceptional lineup of master instructors and industry professionals and we welcome all dancers and studios to join us for an unforgettable training experience.

Innovative Fusion Faculty

​

• Maryann DeAngelis

Owner and Director and nationally recognized educator with over 23 years of experience. Maryann has worked with Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Broadway Dance Center NYC, Dance Moms, Olympic-level athletes, and major conventions nationwide.

 

• Derrick Schrader

Los Angeles-based choreographer and educator with nearly 20 years of touring convention experience. Derrick has collaborated with MTV, ESPN, Disney Channel, SYTYCD, Paula Abdul, Kenny Ortega, and more.

 

• Dakayla Wilson

SYTYCD Season 18 Runner-Up and rising artist now based in Los Angeles. Dakayla toured with Streetz and Intrigue, graduated from CLI Conservatory, and is signed with Clear Talent Agency LA and NY.

 

• Tamica Lee

Tamica Lee is a national television host on OWN and former ABC news anchor, as well as a former NFL Saintsations cheerleader and dance team coach. She brings valuable insight into the entertainment industry, auditions, and professional performance.​

Elite Dance Center’s Annual Summer Intensives are designed for dancers who are ready to grow, challenge themselves, and take their training to the next level!

​

These focused training programs provide dancers with the opportunity to refine technique, explore multiple dance styles, and stay strong during the summer months while learning from experienced instructors in a motivating and supportive environment.

​

Our intensives are perfect for competition dancers, convention dancers, and dedicated students who want to continue building strength, artistry, and performance quality during the off-season.

​

Teen / Senior Elite Intensive:

Ages 13–18 | Intermediate–Advanced

This advanced training program offers an immersive week of classes designed to push dancers technically and artistically. Dancers will train in multiple genres including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, ballet, and more, building versatility and confidence in every class.

Junior / Pre-Teen Intensive:

Our Junior & Pre-Teen Intensive is an exciting opportunity for young dancers to expand their training in a fun and encouraging environment. Dancers will work on technique, flexibility, strength, and performance skills while exploring a variety of dance styles.

Summer Classical Ballet Program Intensive! 🩰 

AGES 8-12  

Monday–Friday

10:00 AM–12:30 PM

Our Ballet Training Program offers focused, technique-driven training designed to build a strong classical foundation in a structured and supportive environment. Dancers will work on proper alignment, strength, control, and artistry while developing the discipline and consistency essential to ballet training.

​

This program is led by Mr. Wayne Burritt, a highly accomplished Ballet Master with over 25 years of experience training pre-professional dancers. With a background rooted in the Vaganova method, his training has guided dancers into top programs and professional opportunities, bringing a high level of expertise and attention to detail into every class.

​

Each week will conclude with a Friday demonstration performance for friends and family, giving dancers the opportunity to showcase their progress.

​

Dress Code: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in a slick bun

Summer Dance Camps at Elite Dance Center ☀️

Looking for a fun and creative summer activity for your child? Elite Dance Center’s themed Summer Dance Camps are the perfect way for young dancers to stay active, build confidence, and explore their love of dance!

​

Designed for ages 4–8, our camps combine dance, music, movement, games, and crafts in a supportive and energetic environment. Each week features a unique theme and concludes with a special performance for parents so dancers can showcase everything they’ve learned.
